Shaley Ellis
Therapist & Founder
Master Peace Art Therapy was founded by Shaley Ellis, a qualified Art Therapist, Counsellor, Registered Nurse, and mother. Shaley works in-person with children and adolescents, offering a compassionate, creative space where young people can express themselves freely and authentically.
With a background in nursing and a lifelong love of art, Shaley brings together the worlds of creativity and wellbeing. Her clinical experience includes working with children with disabilities and those who have experienced family violence. Her approach is child-led and trauma-informed, grounded in cognitive behavioural theory (CBT), humanistic principles, and mindfulness.
At the heart of Shaley’s practice is the belief that art allows children to speak when words fall short. With thoughtful guidance and a warm, grounding presence, she supports children to process emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner world—while maintaining a sense of agency in their healing journey.
